In my experience 18g springs front and back work great. I do have a couple fast liners with a 20g out front. I find that rolled springs work best. Just that little curve on the front helps to stiffen up the spring. And you should use rear springs that have a tab under the front spring and then you don't need an o ring. O rings rob the power from the machine. I never use them anymore. I just bend the tab under the front and good to go. I cut my front shader spring really thin so I get a very good recoil. Duty at like 45% So just a little time in the skin to sink the ink. Try to keep things as simple as possible. The less variables the better. I now have all my machines running the same except for gap and voltage. Some machines require more due to gap and spring legnth. Hope this helps.
