i have recently had my first tattoo, a celtic woad paint design which runs all the way down my right arm. whilst the tattoo was being done, i seemed to be bleeding quite excessively, which resulted in the tattooing taking much longer than it should have as i kept bleeding the ink out. i arn't on any forms of medication and was wondering if anyone knows anything that may have caused so much bleeding

lithium is one med that will make your tattoo loss all the color I'd call your doctor if you are on any meds to find out what if any adverse reactions their are. If your on any other non-medicinal goods ( your know what i mean) then that could have an effect on the tattoo process

Take any aspirin, or drink any alcohol before, or the night before the tattoo?

the main cause of excess bleeding ( in my experience anyway) is going on the piss the night before, sometimes people tend to bleed a little bit more than others anyway, i wouldnt worry about it too much, everybodys different.

well the reason i'm 'worrying' about it is because it's costing me more time and that means more gold.. gold a tells ya dag nabit

I have a customer who bleeds like a stuck pig every time. But the colors are always ultra brite in his skin.
