Well, I have been a member for awhile now and enjoyed viewing all the post so I thought, with a little push in the right direction , that I would post here and introduce myself. As I live and breath for art of many different kinds and forms, it was not surprising that I have a burning desire to learn the art of tattooing. So at the age of 40 something I have started towards my goal of becoming a safe and talented tattoo artist and with my first steps showing promise I am feeling good. It is my hope in the future to find a professional who is willing to take me under his wing....I will post again and let you know of my progress.

Welcome officially, lol. If you have any questions feel free to ask. So many "pro's" are thinking that they're keeping everything secret, but these days, it isn't hard to find things out. And I'd rather help someone do something safe, than hurt somebody because of lack of knowledge. Cuz, let's face it, if you're gonna tattoo, you're gonna tattoo. It's the "I paid my dues" feelings that keeps a lot of artists from sharing, but most are pretty decent people really. It's my opinion that tattooing, like anything else, is a gift, and not everyone is gonna hang in there for the long haul. And those that are trying to do it just to make a quick buck are gonna fade away eventually. But if no one trys to keep it safe in the meantime, then those that stick it out suffer the consequences that are left over from the "scratchers". Well that's pretty close to a rant, so I'll stop, lol.
