Hello and thank you in advance for any advice you can give me. When I was around sixteen I had a tattoo done on my upper right arm which was very badly done. At eighteen or so attempted to get it covered but this was never really acceptable or what I wanted in terms of design and it looked bad. Now I am 40 and have lived with this for what seem like forever. I never wanted it lasered off but I do still want to ge a decent design done that I am happy with. I was told that tribal designs are the best option to cover up and I have seen designs I would like. The tatoo I have now is around 11 centimetres long and six centimeters wide. It has some colours such as green and a little red but is mainly dark. I guess that advice will be to see an artist but I would like advice here first. Like many I look back with sadness at the whims of my earlier age but wuld olike to get this sorted once and for all...thnk you again.

its quite hard to say over the internet without seeing it, its probaly best to go to a good studio and ask their advice. ive heard of people having them lasered but not completely, just so it fades the original tattoo so it can be covered up, hope that helps?
